Policies & Practicalities

Booking Policy

• A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking. We accept MasterCard and Visa.
• Please note that the lodge is not suitable for young children due to its peaceful setting. Children under 12 can be accommodated only by prior arrangement.
• We regret that Iketla Lodge is not wheelchair friendly.

Breakfast & Check-Out

• Breakfast is served daily from 07:30. For guests needing to check out before 08:00, we can provide a packed breakfast upon request.
• The lodge gate is closed during the night for security reasons, and we do not have a 24-hour reception.

Early Arrivals & Late Departures

If your travel plans involve arriving earlier or departing later than the standard check-in/out times, additional fees may apply as follows:

Early Arrivals (11:00 to 14:00)

• Early check-in is subject to availability.
• A fee of R100 per person will be added to your account.
• This includes an optional lunch at the lodge (drinks from the bar are excluded).

Late Departures (After 11:00 to 14:00)

• Late check-out is subject to availability and occupancy levels and can be arranged on arrival.
• After 11:00: R100 per person will apply for guests account for late departure and using lodge facilities (pool, trails, etc.).
• After 11:00: 50% of the room rate will apply for guests staying in their chalets until departure.
• This fee includes an optional lunch (drinks from the bar are excluded).
